Magnum Cementing Services is seeking a highly skilled Cement Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure successful cementing jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor personnel to ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations.
  • Execute successful cementing jobs according to design/client specification.
  • Ensure critical tasks are completed on every cementing job, including measuring the density of cement and collecting samples.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internally with other departments.
  • Work with station management to maintain operation and service standards.
  • Evaluate Bulk Drivers and Operators on weekly maintenance requirements and equipment rebuilding.
  • Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
  • Prepare end of well, end of month, incident, abnormalities, maintenance, logbook, and end of jobs tickets and reports.
Requirements
  • Experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others.
  • Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg.
  • Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions.
  • Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and other software.
  • Experience in the completion of reports.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and dispatch.
  • Understanding of cementing job design and client specifications.
