We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Supervisor to join our team at All Weather Windows Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise the fleet personnel and dispatching of equipment for customer orders.
- Organize and track regular maintenance of trucks and trailers in accordance with NSC requirements and AWW policies.
- Dispatch drivers and fleet equipment in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Communicate with external and internal customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure all licenses and permits for fleet equipment are up to date.
- Train drivers on NSC requirements and AWW fleet policies.
- Investigate collisions and review vendor invoices and G/L codes for outside services.
- Monitor and submit completed IFTA reports for AWW Head Office.
- Develop and implement fleet process standards, SWI, SOPs, and OWD.
- Manage vendors and drive SLA compliance.
- Track and improve fleet Process Indicators and KPIs.
- Manage fuel supply, issuance, and consumption.
- Ensure compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Provide current and accurate fleet data and information.
- Drive process standardization and best practice implementation.
- Liaise with the procurement team on fleet procurement, replacement, and disposal.
- Supervise fleet and transportation employees.
- Ensure employee compliance to fleet safety protocols.
- Examine and sign performance reviews.
- Hire and train new fleet employees.
- Discipline employees as required.
- 3-5 years of fleet experience.
- Experience in warehouse management, shipping, and scheduling.
- Dispatching experience an asset.
- Management and/or supervisory experience an asset.
- Fleet maintenance competency and experience an asset.
- Class 1 Driver's license.
- PDIC Training.
- Log book and hours of service.
- Vehicle inspection training.
- LCV certified.
- Load securement an asset.
- New Vehicle Rig up and Vehicle disposal.
- Pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing.
- Provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract.
