Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Care Experience Supervisor to oversee our team of Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and ensure the highest standards of client care.
Key Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- 2-3 years of managerial experience in a community health setting is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of community nursing principles and client service delivery.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of Personal Support Workers.
- Valid driver's license and current CPR certification are required.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and staff.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Successful completion of a Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Core Responsibilities
- Uphold the values of compassion and quality care within our community.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for clients requiring unlicensed care.
- Lead and support the PSW team in delivering client-centered services that meet established standards.
- Ensure care plans are developed and updated as necessary, with regular client visits.
- Facilitate training and educational opportunities for Personal Support Workers.
- Address and document client concerns and complaints promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of the Standards of Practice set by the provincial regulatory body.
- Collaborate with scheduling coordinators to ensure efficient PSW deployment.
- Assist in the recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluation of Personal Support Workers.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of client and corporate information.
- Engage in proactive Health & Safety initiatives while performing job duties.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
