Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering quality patient-centered care to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
  • Maintain inventory within the pharmacy and ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
  • Offer private consultations to patients while maintaining a patient-centered care culture.
  • Provide clinical services, including medication management and health screening.
Requirements
  • A Canadian Pharmacist license and good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection certification.
  • Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  • Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
  • The ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.
  • Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
  • The ability to travel frequently throughout the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
