About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at VR Janitorial Services Ltd. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a tidy appearance.
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable living space.
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Facilities Maintenance
    • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Lost and Found
    • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth operation.
  • General Duties
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and safe environment.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
    • Experience
      • Experience is an asset, but not required.
    • Language
      • English is the primary language spoken in this role.
    • Work Hours
      • 40 hours per week is the standard work schedule for this role.
