Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian Associate to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality medical services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine therapeutic procedures, including vaccinations, dental work, and fractures
  • Diagnose and prescribe medication to sick or injured animals
  • Consult with pet owners on preventive healthcare and carry out medical and surgical procedures
  • Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics and euthanasia
  • Offer general wellness and vaccinations, nutrition, and weight management programs
  • Enforce government regulations in disease control and food production
  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate billing
  • Participate in continuing education and stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary practices

Requirements:

  • 4-5 year university degree in veterinary medicine
  • 1-2 years of experience in small animal medicine
  • Completion of national certification examinations or equivalent
  • Provincial licensing in the relevant province
  • Proficiency in anesthesia protocols and strong surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
