Position Overview

The Inventory Control and Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of supplies and materials within the organization. This position involves overseeing the flow of goods and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Supply Movement: Track the transfer of materials between various departments to ensure timely availability.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Arrange for necessary maintenance and repair services to uphold operational efficiency.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse and work environment.
  • Traffic Flow Coordination: Manage the logistics of supply movement to streamline operations.
  • Material Requisition: Order and requisition necessary materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Shipment Tracking: Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and sustain inventory levels to meet business demands.
  • Work Schedule Establishment: Develop and implement effective work schedules and procedures.
  • Operational Logistics Planning: Plan and oversee the logistical operations of the organization.
Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
