About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of 15-20 associates, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of production associates, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve shortages and delays
- Enter data accurately and efficiently, including work orders and yield inputs
- Conduct regular inventory checks and place transfer orders as needed
- Train and coach team members to improve performance and productivity
- Recommend process improvements to meet team KPIs
- Collaborate with QA to ensure ingredient quality and reject any substandard products
- Maintain a clean and organized production area, adhering to safety protocols
- Assign tasks to associates based on work orders and ensure proper labeling and equipment usage
- Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure timely ingredient delivery
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in food production, warehouse, or retail environment
- Leadership experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (0-10°C)
- Excellent multitasking and attention to detail skills
- Able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
- Punctual attendance is essential
