Operations Coordinator

As a key member of the operations team, the Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in managing and facilitating various logistical functions within the warehouse environment. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is essential for ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage schedules for meetings, deliveries, and special events.
- Process and submit purchase orders along with other necessary operational documentation.
- Oversee and regulate the flow of traffic within the warehouse premises.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- Perform data entry and manage data processing tasks pertinent to warehouse operations.
- Configure and set up systems to enhance operational productivity.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and across departments.
- Maintain precise records and documentation for operational activities.
- Contribute to process enhancements and operational improvements.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor in daily operational tasks.
- Track and report on operational performance metrics, including KPIs, and prepare relevant reports.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely service and delivery.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any operational challenges.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in administrative or coordination roles, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of food-grade certified warehouse operations and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
