Senior Scheduling and Monitoring Specialist

Role Overview
The Government of Alberta seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scheduling and Monitoring Specialist to join its Capital Planning and Programming team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in developing innovative strategies and solutions to complex transportation investment needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Program Management team to ensure successful delivery of outcomes in accordance with business and operational plans.
- Analyze and interpret data to ensure accurate, timely, and useful in-year program forecasts and expenditures.
- Monitor the in-year approved Construction Program budget to ensure program activities align with financial, business, legislative, policy, and procedural requirements.
- Provide complete and timely information to senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular evaluations of processes and make recommendations for improved approaches, including technology solutions that enhance program management.
- Prepare and provide year-end forecasts, expenses, variances, project contractual commitments, and budget-related information on a monthly basis to the Finance Branch and Executives.
