About the Role

As a Financial Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, connecting with them in a relatable way, and delivering trusted financial advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and goals.
  • Provide expert advice on investment and personal banking products, leveraging relevant financial planning tools and resources.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships and expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with peers, customers, and partners to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with Scotiabank's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales management experience and ability to market Scotiabank's products and services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Licenses to sell mutual funds and working towards the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or Bank recognized equivalent).
