Sr. Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Java Developer to join our team at S.i. Systèmes. As a key member of our API Team, you will be responsible for developing REST and SOAP-based services for our large insurance client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and integrate software components and third-party software products, tools, and solutions.
  • Facilitate and actively participate in meetings, walkthroughs, and reviews of software development deliverables.
  • Deliver fixes and improvements to existing software products, maintain environments and versions, adhering to standards and compile versions.
  • Provide assistance and mentorship to team members.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Web Development with Java (Springboot, Apache Camel).
  • SQL.
  • REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Apigee or equivalent API Gateway Platform.
  • Amazon Web Services.
  • Confluent Kafka or Apache ActiveMQ eventing platform.
  • JHipster Domain Language or Liquibase database utilities.
  • Docker, Istio, Rancher, or Kubernetes container hosting platforms.
  • Database systems and data access methods.
  • Source code management and build automation systems.
  • Test-driven development and test frameworks.
  • Working with production/application support during a critical incident.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Insurance Industry Experience.
  • Tetrate Service Bridge.
