Associate Vice President of Operations

Job Summary:
The Associate Vice President, Central Overlay Group - Operations will be responsible for overseeing all trade execution for Wellington-Altus Private Wealth, Wellington-Altus Private Counsel, and Wellington-Altus USA. This role will involve managing a team of portfolio administrators and analysts to ensure timely execution of model updates, as well as working with the Envestnet team to manage Portfolio Management software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Modelling: Develop and implement standard operating procedures to support trade administration for Wellington-Altus managed account programs.
- Overseeing Daily Functions: Ensure client portfolios are managed as per target allocation, execute rebalancing based on model updates from Portfolio Managers, and work collaboratively with project teams to transition the managed account program to a new Portfolio Management system.
- People Management: Manage a team of portfolio administrators and analysts to ensure the timely execution of model updates.
- System Management: Work with the Envestnet team to manage Portfolio Management software, ensuring it meets the needs of managed platforms, as well as the needs of our Portfolio Managers.
Requirements:
- CFP and/or CFA designation is a strong asset.
- Experience with Portfolio Management software (EnvestNet is an asset).
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, and an ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
