Key Responsibilities:

You will create welcoming and inclusive spaces where children and families can access high-quality programs that positively influence their experiences and outcomes.

You will engage with parents and caregivers, facilitating discussions and sharing insights on child development, nutrition, play, and inquiry-based learning, supporting them in their role as primary educators.

You will enhance Early Learning and Development by providing experiences that foster responsive adult-child relationships and encourage exploration and inquiry, guided by Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years.

You will maintain health and safety standards, ensuring regular cleaning of materials and collaborating with parents and other educators to keep environments safe and well-kept.

You will address parents' and caregivers' inquiries regarding child development through meaningful conversations and observations, utilizing validated tools and resources, and connecting families to specialized services as needed.

Qualifications:

You are a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Early Learning Program or an Early Childhood Education program. You possess knowledge and experience in child development and inquiry-based learning. You have a proven track record of creating nurturing environments that foster relationships among children, parents, and caregivers, based on current research and evidence. Key competencies include relationship building, communication, adaptability, creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
