We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Badlands Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Scheduling
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on hotel operations, guest feedback, and staff performance.
    • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire, train, and develop a team of staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent guest service.
    • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Facilities Management
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel facilities, including public areas, rooms, and equipment.
    • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working order and arrange for repairs as needed.
  • Guest Services
    • Assist guests with special needs, such as providing wheelchair accessibility or arranging for special requests.
    • Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience during their stay.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a hotel or hospitality management role is an asset.
  • Work Setting
    • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
    • Willingness to relocate is required.
