Position Overview

Commercial Tire Technician

Are you passionate about the commercial tire sector and enjoy engaging with customers? Kal Tire is on the lookout for a dedicated Commercial Tire Technician to enhance our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your exceptional customer service abilities while providing comprehensive tire services both in-shop and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and execute service tasks on commercial tires and wheels, which includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating, and installing.
  • Perform routine tire inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal tire pressure, tread wear, and overall condition.
  • Respond to service calls, delivering tire-related assistance to commercial vehicles in need of support.
  • Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their tire-related inquiries and offering tailored advice based on their vehicle specifications and budget.
  • Clearly communicate the services performed and any additional maintenance or repair recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Keen attention to detail and precision in executing tire services.
  • Self-motivated individual committed to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Enjoy building positive, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Capable of thriving in a physically demanding role, including lifting up to 50lbs at shoulder height.
  • Strong safety awareness, willing to adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
