Job Overview

Commercial Tire Technician

Are you passionate about the tire industry and enjoy engaging with customers? Kal Tire is looking for a dedicated Commercial Tire Technician to enhance our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and service commercial tires and wheels, including the removal of wheel assemblies, tire dismounting, balancing, inflation, installation, and diagnostics.
  • Perform routine tire inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal tire performance, including checking inflation levels, tread wear, and overall condition.
  • Respond to service calls to assist commercial vehicles experiencing tire issues on the road.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer interactions, addressing tire-related concerns and offering tailored advice based on vehicle type and usage.
  • Clearly communicate the services performed and any additional maintenance or repair recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong mechanical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Attention to detail and precision in executing tire services.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Capable of working in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50lbs at shoulder height.
  • Safety-conscious with a willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
