Job Summary

Fountain Tire Sudbury (Commercial) is seeking a reliable and skilled General Labourer to join our team. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires and wheels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, balance, and rotate tires and wheels
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintain tire service equipment on a regular basis
  • Complete specialty tire work, including studding, retread, and nitrogen
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

Working Conditions

  • Work in a team environment with a focus on hard work, concise communication, and clear heads
  • Consistent lifting of weights up to 50KG is required
  • Work in unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, and windy conditions
  • Nearly constant standing, crouching, or kneeling is required

Requirements

  • Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a good attitude
  • A valid G2 driver's license is required, with a satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Excellent customer service and a great attitude are essential
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
