POSITION OVERVIEW
This role presents a distinctive opportunity to contribute to our organization during a significant ERP implementation phase. Key responsibilities encompass ensuring a precise and timely financial close, adhering to regulatory standards, and assisting with data validation processes.
The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team and other divisions to enhance financial operations throughout the ERP transition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee period-end closing procedures and journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Conduct monthly foreign exchange revaluation
- Manage payroll journal entries and subsidiary accounting
- Administer bank reconciliations and capital/lease accounting
REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary diploma or degree
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Demonstrated career advancement
- CPA designation or equivalent in progress
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
