As a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, the Senior Vice President of Freight Brokerage Operations will be instrumental in steering the strategic vision and operational execution of the Freight Brokerage division. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement the strategic roadmap for the Freight Brokerage division, collaborating with the executive team to establish both immediate and long-term objectives aimed at enhancing division performance and achieving financial targets.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network of carriers across North America, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with supply chain leadership to optimize business opportunities and minimize reliance on external logistics providers.
  • Negotiate and uphold service agreements with freight brokerage partners, ensuring competitive pricing and service excellence.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • A university degree in business, logistics, or a related field, complemented by relevant experience.
  • Possession of CITT-Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) designation or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles within the Freight Brokerage sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, and warehousing operations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and drive results.
