About the Role

The BC Public Service Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auditor to join our team in the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch. As an Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the gaming industry in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and compliance reviews of commercial gambling operations, including lotteries, casinos, and online gaming platforms.
  • Develop and implement project and audit plans to ensure effective risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Assess risk and develop audit programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with management and colleagues to complete audits and projects.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on compliance and risk management.
Requirements
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in auditing and compliance, with a focus on the gaming industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence.
