About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technology Specialist, Internal Audit to join our team at AltaGas. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will be responsible for leading and performing complex-level IT and Operational Technology (OT) audit engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform audits engagements related to IT and OT, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.
  • Conduct rigorous research and plan audit areas, identifying and defining risks and issues, and developing criteria for evaluation.
  • Document and execute audit procedures, including reviewing and analyzing evidence, documenting client processes and procedures, and following up on technology audit observations.
  • Communicate engagement status to IA leadership and management, and present findings and recommendations to clients and management.
  • Develop and maintain productive client and staff relationships, and work effectively in a professional team environment.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of full-time IT audit assurance and/or advisory audit experience, with at least 2+ years spent leading engagements.
  • Certification such as a CISA, and strong experience in managing, leading, and conducting IT and OT audit engagements.
  • Extensive knowledge of COBIT and NIST frameworks, and operational and management information systems terminology, concepts, and practices.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction, and travel up to 20% (domestic and internationally to US).
