Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will contribute to the success of QuadReal by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties. This role will work closely with the Senior Maintenance Manager and Community Manager to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify potential maintenance issues and take proactive measures to prevent them.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with QuadReal's health and safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure that all maintenance work is completed to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and other stakeholders, responding promptly to their maintenance requests and concerns.
- Participate in on-call duty and emergency response situations as required.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and residents.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 5th class Power Engineer an asset.
