Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will contribute to the success of QuadReal by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties. This role will work closely with the Senior Maintenance Manager and Community Manager to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify potential maintenance issues and take corrective action as needed.
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including tools, vehicles, and machinery.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
- Ensure that all maintenance records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Maintenance Manager or Community Manager.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
- Awareness of occupational health and safety practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Superior ability to develop and sustain cooperating working relationships with staff, contractors, and residents.
- Familiarity with smart phone and tablet technology.
- Entry level skills in Microsoft Office and Yardi Voyager preferred.
