Gas Pipeline Technician

A Gas Pipeline Technician is responsible for executing fusions on gas piping systems and overseeing the complete installation process of gas infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately measure and mark gas line locations.
  • Conduct tests on tees, install tracer wire, and ensure proper staking.
  • Record any deviations and modifications for documentation purposes.
  • Perform pressure testing and provide necessary documentation.
  • Manage loading, unloading, and organization of the worksite.

Technical Expertise:

  • Effectively conduct gas tie-ins in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Comprehend company work protocols and gas schematics.
  • Certification in Gas Fusion from ATCO is advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma is preferred.
  • Experience in outdoor construction and machinery operation is beneficial.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Exhibit professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
