Produce Clerk Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Produce Clerk to join our team at Foodland. As a key member of our grocery store team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized produce section, ensuring high-quality products are available for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Stocking and Merchandising: Unpack and stock produce items, ensuring they are properly displayed and facing forward.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, counting and recording stock as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues related to produce.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the produce area clean and organized, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers.
- Operational Tasks: Process electronic transactions, operate a cash register, and perform other tasks as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper product display.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Experience: Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Availability: Availability to work 40 hours per week is required.
