Job Overview:We are currently seeking a full-time Construction Field Technician to join our construction team. This role will report directly to the Field Supervisor and will support the Site Supervisor with various responsibilities, including lifting, digging, and maintaining site cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute tasks assigned by the Site Supervisor, including excavation, demolition, transporting materials, setting up work areas, carpentry, and maintaining tools.
- Lift, dig, and relocate equipment as necessary.
- Maintain basic hand tools in good working condition.
- Communicate any issues or hazardous conditions to the Site Supervisor.
- Ensure job sites are kept clean and organized.
- Assist with material deliveries, unloading vehicles, and proper storage of materials.
- Promote safety by marking excavated areas and keeping model homes orderly.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Knowledge of general construction safety practices.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Dependability and reliability.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools proficiently.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
Vision - Ability to see near and far.
Hearing - Capable of verbal communication.
Body Position - Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
Limb Coordination - Coordination of multiple limbs.
Strength - Capability to handle loads ranging from 10lb to 50lb.
Environment - Primarily outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Height - Ability to work at elevated levels.
This position requires travel between designated job sites. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with potential for occasional weekend or evening shifts.
