Geotechnical Project Manager - Junior or Intermediate

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team at GHD. As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients and developing geotechnical solutions tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients and develop geotechnical solutions tailored to their needs in collaboration with project professionals.
  • Prepare investigation and work programs aligned with GHD and client objectives.
  • Interpret soil and rock conditions to understand their impact on design and construction.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary projects with various GHD professional services.
  • Perform required calculations and analyses (geotechnical resistances, settlements, slope stability, etc.).
  • Take part in geotechnical design of various structures.
  • Write technical documents.
  • Contribute to optimizing geotechnical properties and related recommendations.
  • Manage project team, including project administration (budget, schedule, quality, risks, site interventions, etc.).
  • Maintain client communication throughout the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, or science.
  • 3 to 10 years of geotechnical experience.
  • Team player.
  • Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec, an asset.
  • Excellent fluency in French (oral and written).
  • ASP Construction card.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Autonomous.
  • Resourceful.
  • Strong organizational skills.
