Telecom Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Test Automation Engineer to join our team at High Tech Genesis Inc. in Ottawa, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and validate our brand-new routing platform to ensure it meets our high standards.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and TCL/Expect.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and resolve issues with the platform.
  • Provide exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with our team.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in testing network equipment and developing test automation scripts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience working with UNIX/Linux/RHEL/Ubuntu.
  • Experience working with telecom lab equipment and setting up test environments.
  • Solid understanding of the OSI model and the protocols that run in it.
