The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly qualified Professor of Accounting to teach in the Fall 2024 semester. As a Professor of Accounting, you will be responsible for teaching multidisciplinary cases that integrate knowledge from previous accounting, tax, auditing, and finance courses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach accounting cases that require students to make multidisciplinary decisions
  • Develop and implement teaching materials that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in accounting

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • Recent professional experience in accounting, including evidence of professional development in IFRS
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA)
  • Experience teaching cases
