Position Overview
The Process Plant Technician Assistant will be an integral member of the Production & Site Services Team at the Ekati mine site. This role, which operates on a rotational schedule, focuses on ensuring the safe and effective functioning of the process plant under the supervision of the Team Leader Processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage plant operations in accordance with safety regulations to achieve production goals;
- Monitor and fine-tune process machinery to enhance operational efficiency;
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and promote cost-effective practices;
- Encourage collaboration and uphold a secure working environment;
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Previous experience in mining or industrial environments is advantageous;
- Completion of a Mineral Processing Course is beneficial;
- Proficiency in computer skills and eagerness to acquire new competencies;
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication abilities;
