Company Overview: Brandt is seeking a skilled professional to oversee our Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
Position Summary: The DAM/PIM Manager will report directly to the Director of Shared Applications and will be accountable for the daily operations of the DAM and PIM systems. This role encompasses system setup, data management, user education, and issue resolution. The Manager will collaborate with various teams to guarantee that all digital assets and product data are precise and current.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily functionality of the DAM and PIM systems.
- Establish and enforce guidelines for the operation and upkeep of the DAM and PIM systems.
- Work alongside cross-departmental teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all assets and product information.
- Engage with stakeholders to determine and prioritize enhancements and new features for the DAM and PIM systems.
- Lead initiatives focused on data governance and quality to maintain the integrity of asset and product information.
- Track and analyze the performance and utilization of the DAM and PIM systems.
- Manage a team of DAM and PIM specialists, including setting objectives, providing mentorship, and assessing performance.
- Stay informed about industry developments and best practices in DAM and PIM.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in project management with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with DAM and PIM software such as Widen, Bynder, Akeneo, Salsify, and InRiver.
- Understanding of data governance and quality assurance practices.
- Familiarity with marketing and sales operations.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to work accurately under pressure.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field (marketing, creative design, information technology) is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years in a DAM or PIM role is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with DAM and PIM software (Widen, Bynder, Akeneo, Salsify, InRiver).
- Knowledge of data governance and quality best practices.
- Familiarity with marketing and sales processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines.
