Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at 18 WHEELS LOGISTICS LIMITED PARTNERSHIP.
Job Summary:The Production Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing production activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks, and maintaining accurate records. This is a key role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Compile and prioritize orders and instructions received from customers
- Develop and implement plans to optimize production processes
- Track and complete work orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Coordinate activities with other work units and departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
- Prepare and submit reports, including production schedules and progress updates
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
- Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units, ensuring efficient inventory management and production planning
- Prepare and maintain progress reports, including production metrics and quality control data
- Project management, including planning, coordinating, and executing projects from start to finish
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to team members as needed
- Coordinate, assign, and review work, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Follow up on issues with work orders, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
- 2 years of experience in a production or logistics role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
