About the Role

Executrade is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our corporate communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the corporate communications team, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
    • Develop and execute operational plans, oversee budgets, and maintain a policy framework to support effective communication.
    • Lead the creation of communication strategies, prepare communications for senior leadership, and monitor issues affecting the organization.
    • Manage the County's media relations, assume a Public Information Officer role during emergencies, and oversee special events.
    • Develop and implement social media programs to enhance our corporate identity and reputation.
  • People Leadership:
    • Create an open and positive working environment, stimulating open discussion among team members.
    • Invest time in managing and developing people through career planning and professional development.
    • Set clear expectations, monitor, evaluate, and conduct annual performance reviews.
    • Delegate broad work responsibilities for direct reports and manage through general oversight.
    • Follow HR policies and procedures, including all performance management expectations.
  • Communications Strategies:
    • Ensure all communication from the organization promotes a positive image and informs stakeholders of our services and programs.
    • Oversee the development, maintenance, and measurement of all communications programs, strategies, tools, and develop capacity across the organization.
    • Provide specialist input into strategic planning and implementation, public relations, branding, marketing, and issues management.
  • Communication Implementation Support:
    • Prepare communications for senior leadership, advise on best practices to promote our goals and priorities, and provide support in delivering key messages to stakeholders.
    • Provide information that is timely, accurate, clear, accessible, and responsive.
    • Monitor and identify issues affecting the organization and develop communication plans and key messages in response to emerging issues and reputation management.
  • Media and Public Information:
    • Serve as the primary media contact for the organization, establishing and maintaining relationships with media.
    • Assume a Public Information Officer role in media and public relations during emergencies, coordinating clear, effective, and timely communications.
