Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Designer to join our team at Maarut Inc. As a Senior UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing, and meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and design, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency across products.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to inform design decisions and ensure user needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, style guides, and design systems.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure design implementation and testing.
  • Provide design guidance and support to junior designers and other team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user interface design skills.
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles, user experience, and user interface design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines, with the ability to design accessible user interfaces.
  • Experience with design systems, guidelines, and standards, with the ability to develop and maintain design systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce and cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with code version control systems, DevOps practices, and cloud delivery/deployment models.
  • Knowledge of personal health information protection legislative requirements and how they apply to developing and maintaining healthcare systems containing personal health information.
