Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at BC Liquor Stores. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a safe and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a safe and organized store environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, receiving and stocking merchandise, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including displaying products in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Be at least 19 years of age.
  • Be able to legally work in Canada.
  • Be able to provide excellent customer service.
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with the public.
  • Be able to demonstrate aptitude for cashier and related duties, including calculations.
  • Be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 20-25 kg boxes.
  • Have a valid Serving It Right Certificate.
