Job Title: Welder

Unique Store Fixtures Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components using various welding techniques
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and dusty environments
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: Confined spaces, dusty
  • Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine
  • Area of specialization: Custom fabrication
