As a Resident Engagement Assistant at Aspira Royale Place Retirement Living, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. This is a dynamic position that requires a passion for creating engaging experiences and building meaningful connections with seniors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement programs and activities that promote social interaction, recreation, and personal growth among residents.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and deliver programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Assist in monitoring resident needs and progress, and provide support to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of program participation and resident feedback.
  • Assume leadership roles in organizing special events and activities that foster a sense of community and belonging.

**Requirements**

  • Diploma or Certificate in recreation/leisure studies or equivalent.
  • Experience working with seniors, including an understanding of motivation concepts and leisure principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (applicable to Ontario applicants) or a Criminal Records Check (applicable to British Columbia applicants).
