We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver at our Milling facility. Reporting to the Elevator Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the shipping and receiving of deliveries in accordance with standard documented procedures and checking for damaged products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the storage, cleaning, and maintenance of products within the facility
- Prepare railway cars and/or trucks for shipment, including weighing and identifying product
- Operate systems to transfer and load product into railcars and/or trucks, including cleaning and sealing trucks and/or rail cars
- Assist with sampling and testing
- Perform routine maintenance on material handling systems and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Complete all related documents as required and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent combined with the ability to read and write English
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups
- Basic computer knowledge is considered an asset
