We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement a Product Roadmap: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including marketing, distribution, IT, and programming, to define top priorities, timelines, delivery status, and launch plans.
- Manage the Subscriber Platform: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our direct-to-consumer platform, including purchase, authentication, entitlements, identity, billing, personalization, and retention.
- Improve the User Experience: Articulate and develop the DTC & TVE experience for our streaming users, simplifying and elevating the experience for our customers.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with UX, business, marketing, customer support, finance, and IT development teams to define products, remove roadblocks, and evaluate trade-offs to deliver functionality that makes a measurable impact.
- Obsess over User Needs: Understand and validate user needs, building intuitive user experiences that increase core UX and business metrics.
- Participate in Agile Ceremonies: Work with Project Managers on IT teams to participate in daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, product demos, and release plans.
- Digital Product Experience: Proven experience with subscription or e-commerce products in video entertainment.
- Product Ownership: Experience with product ownership of web, mobile, and/or connected TV apps.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of video industry technologies and trends, including digital user experience, product management, strategy, techniques, and frameworks.
- Leadership Skills: Collaborative leadership skills and experience to deliver high-growth products as a cross-functional team.
- Streaming Experience: A power user of streaming services.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Focused on using data and user feedback to improve digital products.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills to present ideas for alignment and adapt to changing business needs in a complex, matrix organization.
