Job Summary

Vinayak Grocery is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap area and surrounding shelves.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and management to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

Vinayak Grocery is a fast-paced retail environment that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. As a Cashier, you will be standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
