Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes by collaborating with budget owners within assigned divisions.
  2. Monitor forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend actions to maintain budgetary controls.
  3. Maintain up-to-date salary and benefits data for use in budget and forecast preparation.
  4. Build relationships and establish trust with assigned divisions to provide high client service and financial support.
  5. Participate as a member of the financial analyst team by contributing to team problem solving, information sharing, improving processes, and learning.

Requirements

A university degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience. Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered, or the required years of experience may be increased.

Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability. Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Enrollment in the CPA Program.
  2. Previous experience in a financial setting within Government.
  3. Experience with Fusion ERP System.
Operational Requirements
  1. Occasional travel throughout the province may be required.
  2. Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.

Salary and Benefits

$63,700 - $88,972 annually - Pay Band 5 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan.
