About the Role

CareerBeacon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement global server infrastructure consisting of virtual (on-premise and cloud) and physical servers.
  • Identify and investigate hardware and software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement an action plan for resolution.
  • Function as a subject matter expert for performance tuning, capacity planning, and roll-out of new and upcoming technologies.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that the server infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.
  • Train and mentor junior systems analysts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with server automation and scripting technologies such as PowerShell or Python.
