Job Opportunity: Permanent Part-Time Cashier Position
About the Role:
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Keethanow Group of Businesses is seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to fill a Permanent Part-Time Cashier position at Keethanow Corner Grocery in La Ronge, SK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Oversee the store's front-end to prevent loss and maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Process merchandise returns and exchanges, and receive payment by cash, check, or credit card
- Assist customers and provide support as needed
- Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred
- Able to work with minimal supervision and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a busy customer atmosphere
- Experience with handling cash and cash registers is preferred
- Able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
