Audiology Specialist

Position Overview
The Audiologist will operate with a high degree of independence as a member of a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team. The incumbent will plan, deliver, and evaluate hearing services for various populations, including infants, preschoolers, school-age children, and adults. Additionally, the Audiologist will provide consultative public, parent, and caregiver education and training services.
Experience
- Previous experience in the field of Audiology is preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- A Master's Degree in Audiology from an accredited post-secondary institution is required.
- Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba is necessary.
- Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada is also required.
Qualifications and Skills
- The Audiologist must possess skilled ability in the assessment, identification, and treatment of clients with varying ages and diagnoses.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal, is required.
Physical Requirements
- The Audiologist must be in good physical and mental health and able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods without resting.
- Ability to work under stress and time constraints is necessary.

All Health Care Workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with Southern Health-Santé Sud policy.
