We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Clean Energy Capital Projects Specialist. This is a key position within the Yukon Development Corporation, responsible for leading the planning, design, and regulatory preparation of major energy capital projects in the Yukon.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of clean energy initiatives, working closely with the President and CEO, Deputy Minister, and Assistant Deputy Minister.
- Provide direction and leadership to the branch, ensuring the successful delivery of energy capital projects.
- Collaborate with First Nations and utilities to support the development of new sources of generation.
- Develop and manage budgets for energy capital projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including the public, private sector, and First Nations governments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- Experience leading teams and human resource management.
- Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating renewable energy projects.
- Experience dealing with a variety of client groups, including the public, private sector, and First Nations governments.
