Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway - Old Canmore Rd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock and inventory.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that food meets quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, wastage, and repairs, contributing to the success of our restaurant.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Dependability, client focus, and efficient interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards.
