About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solution Delivery Expert to join our team at BASF SE. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Orchestrate IT Solutions

As a Delivery IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading and orchestrating the IT solution to ensure compliance with current security and compliance requirements. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into the solution design.

Develop and Maintain Architecture

You will develop and maintain the overall architecture for Salesforce and CRM digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This will involve defining architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for Salesforce implementations.

Provide Expertise and Guidance

As a trusted advisor to business leaders and stakeholders, you will provide insights and recommendations on Salesforce and CRM strategies. You will also select appropriate technology stacks and platforms based on Enterprise Architecture governance policies.

Validate Governance Policies

You will validate governance policies against requirements and collaborate with Agricultural Solutions Enterprise Architecture for adjustments if necessary. Additionally, you will continuously review existing solution designs for risks and vulnerabilities, and provide suggestions for mitigation.

Mentorship and Guidance

You will provide mentorship and guidance to product teams and IT Delivery Leads throughout the product lifecycle. You will also stay updated on changes in governance policies, as well as new technology offerings to our environment.

Stay Current with Industry Trends

You will stay current with Salesforce advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies. You will also identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Requirements
  • Education

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years focused on Salesforce and CRM solutions. Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) strongly preferred.

Skills and Qualifications

Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security, and integration patterns and a proven track record of leading and delivering complex Salesforce programs and projects. Strong knowledge of CRM best practices, digital transformation, and customer engagement strategies. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools. Strong analytical-thinking, problem-solving skills and excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
