Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in heavy civil construction, particularly with maintenance tasks related to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, and John Deere machinery.
  • Thorough understanding of safety and health regulations pertinent to the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in safety systems and relevant software applications.
  • Willingness to work in remote locations or camps on a rotational schedule.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy machinery within a civil construction context.
  • Test and verify repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications and operates correctly.
  • Work in conjunction with other equipment operators on construction sites.
  • Uphold safe equipment operation in accordance with industry standards.
  • Engage in work preparation meetings and toolbox discussions.
  • Effectively interpret both verbal and non-verbal communications.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
