Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Yellowknife Restaurant Limited Partnership. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Estimate and Manage Resources: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Lead and Motivate Team: Lead and motivate a team of up to 20 staff members, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Address Customer Concerns: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we provide excellent customer service.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required, but a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures is essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, and provide guidance and support to staff members.
